This year for spring break, Brett and I took the whole week off to go spend time with family down South. The first little while we stayed in Beaver and visited my parents. The high school musical was going on at this time, and we were able to go watch my little sister Melodie, which was enjoyable, and she did such a good job.
After Beaver, we headed down to Logandale to spend a few days with Brett's oldest sister Annalyn and her family. We enjoyed our visit, and Annalyn took us on some adventurous walks and hikes.
We hiked up to this plateu one morning, and the view was very rewarding even though the hike was tiring.

Brett thought that we were lost, so he decided to try and bum a ride off of a train. ;)

After the plateu hike, Brett and I headed to a ghost town called St. Thomas. This town was covered in the early 1900's by Lake Mead, but now is uncovered. We didn't get too many pictures here, but you can still see some of the foundations, and it was really neat to see.

After Logandale, we were able to spend some time with Brett's brother Matt in St. George. This was good, because Matt is going to be moving up to Sanpete, as he was just hired as the North Sanpete head football coach. We are so excited that he got this, and now all 6 of the brothers will be living in Sanpete!
We really had a spectacular time visiting family during the week off, and it was a much needed break for us.
