Here is my sweet Grandma. I love this woman soooo much!
On April 1st, my Granmda Lever turned 80. We had a wonderful time with all of the extended family on the Lever side celebrating her life, and her wonderful legacy. This past year, my grandma has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. She has been trying to fight it, but it has kept progressing. The doctors figure that it will take her life in the next 3-6 months or so. This woman has been such a strength to me in my life. Her example has extended to anyone that has ever been around her.
During the summer of 2010, I had the opportunity to spend the summer living with my Grandma as I worked in Taylorsville. That summer was one of the best summer's I have ever had, and it was all because of her. I feel so blessed to have such a magnificent example and friend in my life as my Grandma Lever is. I have never heard her say anything ill of anyone, and her attitude about life is truly amazing. She is always giving compliments, and telling everyone how much she loves them. But that's just the kind of person she is; a true saint, and a disciple of Christ. One day I hope that I can be just like her.
