Moab

June 16-18 we were able to spend time with family down on the Southeastern side of Utah.  On the 16, we headed for Green River where we met up with my parents and my brother and his family.  We had an enjoyable evening, and the next morning they headed down to Goblin Valley.  We opted not to go to Goblin Vally with Austin, so we moseyed on down to Moab where we would meet up with the Lever's for our family reunion.  We did a little sight seeing around Moab and then checked into the RV Park where we were staying in a little Cabin.

Close to the park, we noticed this pedestrian bridge that went across the Colorado River, so after dinner Brett and I headed over to check it out.

The next morning, we asked my mom if she would watch Austin while we went and hiked Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.  Grandma wasn't too hard to convince, so the next morning Brett and I headed off to hike the most famous Arch in Utah!

Along the way we found this little Arch!

Walking up, almost to the Arch!  (Don't get too blinded, it was the first time my legs have seen any sun for a long time)

We can see it!  Oh and I'm just resting for a bit :)

Almost there, Just around these rocks!

 Delicate Arch!

Both of us together (If you can see us)

After we hiked Delicate Arch, we went back and picked up my Mom and Austin to explore Arches a little more.

 Darn wind was blowing!

We had to go home after the exploring and weren't able to stay the whole reunion, but we had so much fun getting away for a few days.  It is so cool to have places like this so close to us!  It will be fun to go back someday when Austin can enjoy things a little more too!
